This earlier code base version of Rastan for US arcades shows some of the developmental iterations of the game before the final release. While featuring the same core gameplay loop of side-scrolling action and combat against enemies, it may have differences in level design, enemy placement, and even some character animations compared to the final US revision. This version offers a glimpse into the evolution of the game before its final polish and refinement by Taito.
