SDI - Strategic Defense Initiative, a sequel or enhanced version of the original System 16A title, operates on Sega's upgraded System 16B hardware. This version likely offers improved graphics, potentially smoother gameplay, and possibly new features compared to its predecessor. The gameplay mechanics should remain similar, with the core objective being to defend against a barrage of incoming missiles, however the visual enhancements of the System 16B would have increased the overall experience.
