Pocket Monsters - Pikachu (Japan)
Pocket Monsters - Pikachu (Japan) is a Japanese-only Game Boy release and is considered one of the earlier entries in the enormously popular Pokémon franchise. While not the first Pokémon game, it features Pikachu prominently. The gameplay likely centers on the core mechanics of exploring, catching, and battling Pokémon, albeit in a simplified version compared to later entries in the series due to the technological limitations of the Game Boy. Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, it laid some of the foundations for the series' success.
