Doom II (E)(Supplex)
Another port of the legendary FPS franchise, Doom II made its debut on the Game Boy Advance courtesy of several developers and publishers. Amongst the various iterations, Supplex's release and Mode7's version stood out. These ports maintained the essence of the original game, letting players experience the chaotic combat and terrifying monsters in a portable format. They adapted the game's intense action to the GBA's limitations, offering a surprisingly fluid experience. However, compromises in visuals and audio were expected to ensure playability. These versions delivered a potent dose of frenetic shooting action on the handheld, proving that even demanding games could find a home on the GBA.
