SNES Rainbow Road in Mario Kart XXL is not an official game release, but rather a custom ROM hack. It takes the classic Rainbow Road track from the Super Nintendo's Super Mario Kart and attempts to port or recreate it for the Game Boy Advance's Mario Kart: Double Dash!! The gameplay would be similar to Double Dash!!, but with the iconic Rainbow Road course.  The creators of this fan-made project sought to bring a fan-favorite track to a different platform for nostalgic or experimental purposes, relying on ROM hacking techniques to alter the original game's data.
