Donkey Kong 64 is a platformer developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. It features Donkey Kong and a cast of other characters as they collect various items to stop King K. Rool's evil plan.  The game features a large 3D world and emphasizes exploration and collecting.
