Superman: The New Superman Adventures is a 3D action-adventure game based on the popular DC Comics superhero. Released for the Nintendo 64, it tasked players with controlling Superman as he flew through Metropolis stopping various crimes. The game featured various abilities, such as flight, super strength, heat vision, and x-ray vision. The graphics, while not exceptional by modern standards, were fairly detailed and showcased a colourful take on the Superman world. The gameplay focused on thwarting Lex Luthor's plans using the unique abilities, with a focus on simple yet engaging action. Although not a critical darling, it provided a relatively enjoyable experience for fans of the character and the genre.
