Action 52 is a controversial and notoriously difficult compilation of games released for the NES. It is known for its extremely poor quality and many glitches, as well as for the large number of games included. Each individual game within the compilation is quite short and rather simplistic. It is considered more of a curiosity in the NES games library than an actual good game. The developer and publisher is Active Enterprises. It was originally released in 1991. Despite its widespread criticism, Action 52 has gained a cult following due to its infamy and unusual nature.
