This release of Akumajou Dracula represents a port or re-release of the original game for the Wii and Wii U Virtual Console. This made the classic NES title available to a new generation of players. While largely consistent with earlier releases, this version benefits from the improved visual capabilities of the Wii and Wii U systems, albeit within the constraints of emulating the original NES hardware.
