Alien Syndrome (Japan)
Alien Syndrome is an action game developed by Konami and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. Players assume the role of a lone soldier fighting against hordes of aliens in a sprawling, multi-level base. The gameplay is a side-scrolling shooter with elements of exploration, requiring the player to navigate the environment, collect weapons and upgrades, and overcome challenging enemies. The original Japanese release differs slightly from the Western releases, especially in terms of some enemy designs and level layouts.
