Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team is a beat 'em up game released for the NES, combining characters from both the Battletoads and Double Dragon franchises. The European and US releases are largely similar, although minor differences might exist in censorship or localization.  Gameplay involves side-scrolling combat, featuring the iconic amphibian Battletoads and the martial artist Double Dragons fighting against a multitude of enemies across various levels. The game is known for its challenging difficulty and unique blend of characters and fighting styles.  It was published by Tradewest and developed in collaboration between Rare (Battletoads) and Technos Japan (Double Dragon).
