This version of Bubble Bobble represents the original arcade game's port to the Wii and Wii U Virtual Consoles. The gameplay remains consistent with the original NES version: players control Bub and Bob, blowing bubbles to trap and defeat enemies and progressing through colorful levels. Released on the Wii's Virtual Console and later the Wii U, this version allows players to experience this classic game on newer Nintendo platforms.  Taito is the original developer of Bubble Bobble, and the Wii/Wii U versions maintain the core gameplay of this beloved arcade game.
