Dig Dug II - Trouble in Paradise (USA)
Dig Dug II, also known as Trouble in Paradise in the USA, expands on the original Dig Dug's gameplay. Released by Namco in arcades, it retains the core gameplay loop but adds new enemies, levels, and even a few gameplay mechanics. For the NES version, Namco also adapted the core gameplay, adapting it to the console's limitations while attempting to maintain the spirit of the arcade game. The NES version was a continuation of the Dig Dug franchise on a new platform.
