This is the Virtual Console release of Famicom Mukashibanashi: Shin Onigashima - Kouhen, making the game accessible on modern Nintendo platforms such as the Wii, Wii U and 3DS. The gameplay remains identical to the original NES version; the Virtual Console port simply provides a means of playing the classic title on newer hardware with updated emulated controls and digital distribution.
