Tetris is a world-renowned puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Alexey Pajitnov in the Soviet Union. The European release of the NES version features classic Tetris gameplay involving rotating and arranging falling blocks to create complete horizontal lines.  The game was a global phenomenon and marked one of the earliest instances of a successful video game finding massive popularity across numerous platforms and regions.  This specific release is an adaptation for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
