Gex - Enter the Gecko is the second installment in the Gex franchise, released for the Playstation. The game further refines the platforming mechanics introduced in the first game while incorporating new abilities and power-ups for Gex. Players once again navigate themed levels, often based on television channels, and collect gems and other collectibles. The humor and pop culture references continue to be a central element of the game's appeal.  Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Interactive continued their partnership for this release. It builds upon the first game's formula, but with enhanced visuals and gameplay.
