Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins, the sequel to the original Tenchu, also released for the PlayStation in 1998. Developed and published by Activision, the game refined the stealth-action mechanics of its predecessor. It further developed the gameplay systems, adding new characters, weapons, and levels to provide a more rich experience. The game continued to emphasize stealth and strategy but enhanced the visuals and added more depth to the story, expanding the lore of the Tenchu universe.  This installment built upon the original by offering improved graphics, tighter controls, and a deeper storyline.
