Road Rash is a vehicular combat racing game series that had its Sega CD release, leveraging the platform's enhanced audio and graphics for the time. Players race motorcycles, engaging in hand-to-hand combat with opponents, adding a unique twist to the traditional racing game formula.  The game features a variety of tracks, motorcycles, and opponents.  The Sega CD version of Road Rash offered smoother graphics, detailed backgrounds, and enhanced audio. The gameplay focuses on strategic use of weapons and fighting techniques to eliminate rivals, while concurrently finishing the race. This blend of combat and racing set it apart from typical racing games of the time.
