Puyo Puyo (Japan)
Puyo Puyo is a puzzle game released for Sega Game Gear. This version is an adaptation of the popular arcade and console game, known for its colorful characters and fast-paced gameplay. Players manipulate falling Puyo pieces, attempting to match four or more of the same color to clear them from the playfield. As the player progresses, the stack grows, and players must manage the falling pieces strategically to avoid being overwhelmed. The Game Gear version retained core elements of the original, delivering the fun to a portable format. Sega was responsible for publishing the Game Gear version.
