Sonic & Tails 2 is a 1993 platform game for the Sega Game Gear, the sequel to Sonic & Tails. Developed and published by Sega, it expands upon the original by adding new levels, features and challenges. Players again control Sonic and Tails, engaging in high-speed platforming action and level navigation. The gameplay maintains the series' fast-paced action, characteristic of the Sonic franchise, adapted to the handheld Game Gear platform.
