BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat is a 1994 turn-based strategy game for the Sega Genesis based on the popular tabletop wargame BattleTech. Players command mechs and engage in tactical battles. Gameplay revolves around careful unit placement, weapon management, and exploiting the strengths and weaknesses of different mechs. This adaptation sought to capture the tactical depth of the original game and introduced new players to the lore of the BattleTech universe. The game was produced by Activision.
