Daikoukai Jidai II, the sequel to the popular Sega Genesis RPG, Daikoukai Jidai, further expands upon the naval adventure and trading gameplay of its predecessor. Taking place in a different historical setting, players command even larger and more powerful fleets, with enhanced trade and diplomacy features.  The game retained the core elements that made the original game successful, while adding greater depth and complexity to the naval battles and world exploration. While similar in style, the changes made it more than a simple rehash.  It's also developed and published by Koei.
