Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is a puzzle game developed by Sega and released for the Sega Genesis. It is a puzzle game featuring the characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. It's a reimagining of the classic puzzle game Puyo Puyo, with the gameplay focusing on matching colored beans to eliminate them from the screen. The single-player mode features a campaign mode against Dr Robotnik and other familiar characters.  The game also features a multiplayer mode allowing for head-to-head gameplay and strategic play. Its distinctive puzzle gameplay combined with familiar characters made it a popular addition to the Genesis library.
