Golden Axe (World) (v1.1) is a slightly updated version of the original Sega Genesis port of Golden Axe. The 'v1.1' designation suggests minor revisions, possibly bug fixes or small adjustments compared to the initial release. The core gameplay remains the same; a side-scrolling beat 'em up with the same characters, enemies, and levels. The differences between this version and the initial Genesis release are often subtle and may only be noticeable upon direct comparison.
