HardBall III, released for the Sega Genesis, offered a classic baseball experience. While not as graphically advanced as later entries in the series, it captured the core gameplay of baseball with accessible controls and strategic depth.  The game featured realistic player movement, accurate batting mechanics, and a satisfying sense of hitting and fielding.  Developed by Acclaim Entertainment, it was notable for its relative realism compared to other baseball games of the era on the Genesis, and offered a solid, if somewhat simplistic, baseball experience.
