Sagaia, also known as Thunder Force II, is a 1988 shoot 'em up arcade game developed and published by Technosoft. This vertically scrolling shooter featured fast-paced action and impressive visuals for its time, becoming very popular in arcades. The game was later ported to several other platforms, including the Sega Genesis.  Sagaia is distinguished by its challenging gameplay, memorable soundtrack, and a variety of power-ups that strategically changed the play style. The Genesis version was notable for its faithful port of the original arcade experience.
