Saint Sword is a 1990 action role-playing game developed by Compile and originally released for the Sega Genesis in Japan. The game features fast-paced combat, RPG elements like character progression, and a fantasy setting.  The gameplay is centered around sword combat with various special moves.  Unlike many action RPGs of the time, it emphasized speed and reflexes.  The game saw regional releases with some differences in name and content.
