Sonic 2 - Score Rush
Sonic 2 Score Rush is a ROM hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis. It maintains the core gameplay of the original, focusing on fast-paced platforming and collecting rings, but significantly alters the level design and introduces new challenges. The levels are often remixed from the original Sonic 2, but contain entirely new layouts, obstacles, and pathways. It retains the classic Sonic 2 art style but often features modified palettes and additions to the level design to create unique gameplay experiences. The hack was developed and released by the ROM hacking community; there is no official association with Sega or Sonic Team.
