Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Battle Race is a ROM hack that transforms the core gameplay of Sonic 3 & Knuckles into a racing or competitive experience. This fan-made project changes the game's focus from traditional platforming challenges to a racing or competitive style. Sega was not involved in its creation. While the original platforming movement could be retained, the core objective and level design will be vastly different.
