Sonic Megamix 2.0 is a further evolution of the Sonic Megamix series, building upon the changes introduced in the first version. It likely features additional levels, refined gameplay mechanics, improved graphics (within the limitations of the Sega Genesis hardware), and potentially new features not present in the original or the first Megamix release. This hack, like its predecessor, remains a testament to fan creativity, pushing the boundaries of what's possible within the constraints of an older game engine.  Like its predecessor, the foundation of the game is still based on Sega's original Sonic the Hedgehog. While there is no official company behind the hack, it's a product of the dedicated Sonic fan community.
