Sonic the Hedgehog 2, a classic platformer released for the Sega Genesis in 1992, is widely considered one of the greatest video games of all time. Developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, it built upon the success of its predecessor with improved gameplay, level design, and visuals.  Sonic and Tails once again race to thwart the evil Dr. Robotnik's plans.
