This is a beta version of Super Shinobi II, The, released in Japan for the Sega Genesis. Beta versions usually contain unfinished elements, suggesting the game was still under development. It would be interesting to know the difference between this version and the released version of the game.  It would have had aspects that didn't make the cut in the final version.
