Virtua Racing (USA)
The American release of Virtua Racing, also launched in 1992 for the Sega Genesis, maintained the core gameplay and innovative 3D graphics of its Japanese counterpart. However, minor differences in presentation, such as the user interface and potentially minor track alterations, catered to the Western gaming market. Sega AM2 again led development. The game remained a critical and commercial success, solidifying its position as a key entry in the Genesis' library and a significant early 3D racing game.
