Virtual Bart, a 1994 Sega Genesis title, placed players in the shoes of the mischievous Bart Simpson. The game featured a variety of minigames and challenges, moving away from the more traditional gameplay styles of other titles.  While the graphics weren't as technologically advanced as some of its contemporaries, the game benefitted from its use of the Bart Simpson license, appealing to fans of the popular animated show.  Acclaim Entertainment developed this title, showcasing a unique take on the platformer genre within the Bart Simpson franchise.
