This is another translation patch of Dragon Quest V for the SNES. The gameplay, core story, and characters remain consistent with the original Japanese release.  However, this version utilizes a different translation team (DeJap+Partial) resulting in potential variations in terminology and phrasing from the Byuu+spSpiff translation.  The focus is still on the classic RPG experience featuring a deep plot focused on the protagonist's life and relationships and turn-based combat with monster recruitment.  Square Enix is still credited with the original game's development.
