Lost Vikings II, The (Europe) (En,Fr,De)
The Lost Vikings II, a sequel to the popular puzzle platformer, was released on the SNES in both European and US regions. Maintaining the core gameplay of the original, it tasked players with guiding a trio of Vikings – Erik the axe-wielding warrior, Olaf the strong shield-bearer, and Baleog the agile archer – through a variety of challenging levels. Each Viking possessed unique skills, demanding strategic use to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and defeat enemies. The improved graphics and enhanced gameplay mechanics made it a worthy successor to the first game, and like its predecessor, it was critically acclaimed for its clever level design and challenging puzzles. The publisher, usually Silicon & Synapse (later Blizzard Entertainment), is well-known for its work on action-adventure and strategy games.
