Megaman X (Europe) and Megaman X (USA) are regional releases of the same game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The differences primarily reside in minor graphical elements, audio, and potentially text localization. Both versions feature the introduction of X, a new character with unique abilities, and maintains the series' signature side-scrolling action and challenging platforming. The game was developed by Capcom. The core gameplay loop is very similar to the original Megaman, but introduce new elements and mechanics.
