Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage is a 1994 Super Nintendo Entertainment System beat 'em up game. Developed by Blizzard Entertainment and published by Activision, it's based on the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name. Players control either Spider-Man or Venom, battling through various levels filled with enemies from the Maximum Carnage storyline. Gameplay involves standard beat 'em up mechanics, with players punching, kicking, and utilizing special moves to defeat foes.  The game is known for its fast-paced action, multiple playable characters each with unique abilities, and its relatively faithful adaptation of the comic book's plot and characters.  It's considered a solid entry in the beat 'em up genre for the SNES.
